Arrival in Bologna and transfer to the hotel, accommodation and meeting with our guide to start a panoramic tour of this multi-faceted city.
Our visit starts from Piazza Nettuno, dominated by the homonym statue where there are several buildings including the Salaborsa Library, the historic seat of the municipality of Bologna and now home to a very elegant library.
We continue towards Piazza Maggiore, the true center of the city, from here we reach the imposing church of S. Petronio, a jewel of gothic art, where in 1530 Charles V was crowned emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. From here we reach the Torre degli Asinelli, one of the city's symbols adorned with legends, the climb to the top is possible thanks to a wooden staircase that has 492 steps, we will finally cross the Jewish ghetto, with its dark and narrow alleys that today return in a surreal image.
Our walk ends in the historic market of the Quadrilatero, which since the middle ages has hosted the artisan and commercial activities of the city, the streets have maintained their ancient appearance with the old signs that stand out unchanged on the street corners.
