Day 1
In the morning departure from Rome to Palestrina, arrival and accommodation in the apartment, where our american friend Jennifer welcome us.
We will begin with a guided tour of the Archaeological Museum of Palestrina, which houses among others the famous Mosaic of the Nile, a "unicum" in the world and in front of the museum the Sanctuary of the Goddess Fortuna.
Lunch in a restaurant.
In the afternoon you will move to Castel S. Pietro Romano, a perched village, where you will become bakers for a day, in fact right here you will be welcomed in a local oven to learn how to make Giglietto, a typical biscuit of the Roman countryside. Born in France, from a family of chefs originally from Palestrina, who were then exiled because of their contrast with the papacy.
Dinner in restaurant.
Overnight in the apartment.
Day 2
In the morning departure for the Castle of Sermoneta that belonged to the Caetani family and somehow also surrounded by mystery, then continue to the wonderful Gardens of Ninfa, defined by the New York Times as "the most beautiful gardens in the world".
Lunch in a restaurant.
In the late afternoon stop at Valmontone where you can shop and buy the best Italian brands at discounted prices.
Free dinner inside the outlet.
Overnight in the apartment.
Day 3
Today you will do your "full day" sightseeing tour to Tivoli, where you will visit two masterpieces Villa Adriana, commissioned by Emperor Hadrian and Unesco heritage and Villa D'Este, a Renaissance masterpiece also famous for its sumptuous Italian garden with its fountains that create magnificent water features.
Lunch in a restaurant
In the late afternoon return to Palestrina, dinner in a restaurant and overnight in the apartment.
