The Baths of Caracalla are one of the largest and most impressive monumental complexes of ancient Rome: inaugurated in 217 AD, they could accommodate up to 1600 people in hot and cold water baths, complete with every comfort.

It is on the Palatine Hill that the legend infects reality, in fact it is said that Romulus founded Rome in 753 AD at the foot of this hill, in the middle of the Roman Forum which in the past was the political, economic and social center of ancient Rome.
The strong and lively political character is also delimited, and above all, by the Quirinale, considered one of the wonders of the classical world and the former seat of the King of Italy, today the President of the Republic.
All this was conquered by the Romans by battles in which many people lost their lives: continuing towards the Lungotevere Augusta we reach the Ara Pacis, symbol of the commemoration of the emperor Augustus in Spain and Galia.
The Mausoleum of Hadrian instead, built as a funeral mausoleum, became a real fortress.
