After breakfast we head towards Spoleto, a city famous in recent times not only for the Festival of the two Worlds, but also for successful tv series "Don Matteo".
This city is an authentic jewel, in the heart of the town stands the pale stone Cathedral, dating back to the eleventh century, which still retains its original romanesque structure in the splendid facade and mighty bell tower and houses notable masterpieces by Pinturicchio.
To enjoy the landscape to the fullest, we climb up to the Rocca Albornoziana, a 14th century fortress and today the seat of the National Museum of the Duchy.
Finally, a stop at the Ponte delle Torri, to get some pictures, an imposing medieval structure with 10 arches that crosses a deep wooded gorge.

In the afternoon our visit continues towards Spello, a town that is part of the circuit of the "most beautiful villages in Italy". Famous for the Corpus Domini flower show, it presents itself to the visitor with its pink colored houses. Among its cobbled alleys, in the frescoed churches, in the shadow of its monuments, Spello preserves the signs of its long Roman and Lombard history of popes and lords. There are numerous remains from the Roman era when Spello, or rather Hispellum, was the “splendid colony Julia”, as a sign on the facade of Portonaccio states. Our walk starts from the lower, southern part, still surrounded by well-preserved Roman walls, up to the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore.

This morning, after having breakfast, our stop will be Assisi, known for being the city where St. Francis, patron saint of Italy, and Santa Chiara were born, lived and died.
Free walk in the historic center to admire the Basilica of Santa Chiara, dedicated to St. Clare of Assisi, a follower of St. Francis, the Temple of Minerva, now the seat of the municipality and the Basilica of San Francesco with frescoes from the life of the saint by Giotto.

In the afternoon continue to the city of Gubbio, a medieval town built on the steep slopes of a mountain. Here we will visit the Piazza Grande, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside and the Civic Museum, which houses the most famous treasure of Gubbio, the Eugubine Tables, seven bronze tables dating back to a period between 300 BC and 100 BC.

In the morning, after a delicious choco-breakfast based on mini fondues, fresh fruits, sweets, biscuits and chopped chocolate, we will begin our walk to discover Perugia.
Crossing the heart of the fortress, we arrive in Piazza IV Novembre, where most of the main monuments of the city are concentrated, such as the Palazzo dei Priori and the Fontana Maggiore, all gently accompanied by the typical chocolate shops.

In the afternoon we reach Trasimeno lake where history and legends meet, giving life to wonderful natural scenery.

After breakfast, we take a beautiful walk to discover Pienza, one of the most famous places in the Val d’Orcia.
The activity of this town is concentrated in Piazza Pio II, where the solemn Cathedral stands flanked by two Renaissance palaces: Palazzo Piccolomini, an ancient papal residence and the Bishop's Palace, home to the Diocesan Museum and a fascinating collection of works of art . Tasting of the famous pecorino di Pienza.
Continue to Bagno Vignoni, still located in Val d'Orcia, near the Via Francigena.
The waters that flow in this place have been used since Roman times for thermal purposes. At the center of the village is the "Piazza delle Sorgenti", a rectangular basin of sixteenth-century origin, which contains a source of hot and steaming thermal water that comes out of the underground layer of volcanic origins.
The last stop of this day is the Abbey of Sant'Antimo, an already benedictine monastic complex, within the municipality of Montalcino, in the province of Siena, it is one of the most important architectures of the tuscan romanesque.

Breakfast and departure for Montalcino, home of the famous Brunello of Montalcino.
We will see the two main attractions which are: the Duomo and the Fortress, then we will allow ourselves a tasting of the most famous wine of this area, the Brunello of Montalcino.
In the afternoon we will reach Siena, with one of the most suggestive historical centers in Tuscany. We will visit the Piazza del Campo with its Torre del Mangia, which rises tapered for about 88 meters, the Palazzo Pubblico, a magnificent example of sienese gothic architecture and home to the city's main art museum, the Civic Museum.
Finally, the 13th century Cathedral, one of the most beautiful Italian gothic churches, whose splendid facade in white, green and red marble will remain etched in your memory for a long time. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast and departure for Monteriggioni, one of the most beautiful fortified tuscan villages, dominated by the castle and characterized by circular walls.
The town was built by the sienese between 1213 and 1219 for purely defensive purposes, the intact walls are composed of 14 towers and 2 gates, the Porta Franca or Romea facing Rome and the Porta Fiorentina facing Florence.

In the afternoon we will continue to San Gimignano. Called the "town of towers" for its 14, 11th century towers, San Gimignano is the classic and fascinating ancient village on top of a hill. We walk to the Town Hall and the Torre Grossa in stone, which is the highest in the city, here we also find the Collegiate Church of S. Maria Assunta, a romanesque basilica with splendid frescoes by Ghirlandaio.

Breakfast and departure for Volterra, a hilly village with imposing walls, which will leave you breathless.
Peculiarities of Volterra are its narrow streets and its central square, presided over by the beauty of the thirteenth-century Palazzo dei Priori and Palazzo Pretorio.

In the afternoon we head towards Certaldo, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Tuscany and Boccaccio's birthplace. A feature of this historic village is that it lacks a main square, in fact it extends along a hill where it was once believed that there was no space for an agora.
The most important monument is the Palazzo Pretorio, the ancient residence of the Alberti counts which was built at the end of the 12th century on the ruins of the ancient houses of the family, next to the Palazzo Pretorio, there is the Church of S. Tommaso and Prospero, from the early 13th century, the oldest in the city.

Breakfast and departure for Florence, the cradle of the Italian Renaissance.
Guided tour of its main monuments, the Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria with the Loggia of the Lanzi and the Palazzo Vecchio all considered open-air museums, we continue towards Piazza del Duomo with the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore dominated by Brunelleschi's dome and Giotto's bell tower to finish the Baptistery with the magnificent door of paradise.
