DAY 1 Rome

Arrival and transfer to your hotel and then enjoy your first day in the city at your own leisure.
Late afternoon departure from the hotel and meet our local expert guide will lead you to discover the wonders of the Eternal City.
Enjoy on your own the rest of the night.
Return to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 2 Rome - Naples - Pompeii - Sorrento

After breakfast, pick up at your hotel.
Departure by coach heading south crossing the regions of Lazio and Campania.
Arrival in Naples and short panoramic tour climbing up to Vomero hill to enjoy beautiful view over the Gulf of Naples with the Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida and the city below; time to take some nice pictures.
Descending you will leave the city and travel south towards Mount Vesuvius, where you will begin your climb by foot to reach the top, almost 1000 m. above sea level and enjoy a spectacular view of the entire Gulf of Naples.
You can also visit the town of Pompeii, a city which has remained unchanged over time. Discover and learn how the urban fabric, interiors of the houses, objects for common use, were part of the daily life for habitants in Pompeii.
Then you will have lunch with the real Neapolitan pizza!
After lunch, you will enter into one of the most important archaeological sites in the world.
After the visit, you will drive along the Sorrentine Coast, arriving in Sorrento, that is famous for the view of the sea and Piazza Tasso. The old town is a maze of narrow streets where there is the church of Saint Francis, a building of the 14th century.
Dinner and overnight in your new hotel.

DAY 3 Sorrento - Capri - Sorrento

After breakfast, get ready for an exciting excursion to the island of Capri, that is s jewel nestled among the rocks in the Gulf of Naples. Capri is famous for its scenery and glamour. Onwards to via Camarelle where you will visit the marvellous gardens of Tuberio, with a spectacular terrace overlooking the Faraglioni, photoshop to tourists and celebrities worldwide.
Here depending on weather and sea conditions, you will admire the dreamy Blue Grotto on a small rowboat.
Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then roam the island at your own pace.
Once back on the mainland, return to the hotel for dinner and your last overnight in Sorrento.

DAY 4 Sorrento - Palermo (overnight on ferry boat)

Breakfast at your hotel, then spend a leisurely morning exploring Sorrento.
In the afternoon, you will reach the port of Naples, where you will board on the ferry to Palermo.

DAY 5 Palermo

Arrive in Palermo and transfer to your hotel.

DAY 6 Palermo

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, and then head out on a morning excursion to Monreale.
The city of Monreale is famous all over the world and in 2015 Unesco also recognized its artistic and architectural importance.
You can visit the cathedral of Santa Maria Nuova, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the most important medieval churches in the world. In it blend variety of styles and structural originality truly unique.
Return to your hotel.

DAY 7 Palermo - Erice - Saline della Laguna - Agrigento

Early breakfast and departure to Erice and Saline.
Erice is an ancient medieval village full of archaeological treasures and also a renowned destination for its pastry shops and colorful ceramics.
Our itinerary continues along the way of salt, on which stand the windmills, in which small and large enterprises exercise the millenary activity of the "cultivation" of salt.
Free lunch.
After lunch travel to Agrigento and ruins at the Valley of Temples.
Visit the Valley of Temples, that is one of the most extensive, representative and best preserved archaeological sites of classical Greek civilization, included in 1998 by Unesco in the list of World Heritage.
Check- in to your hotel in the evening.

DAY 8 Agrigento - Piazza Armerina - Ragusa

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Piazza Armerina, a beautiful city of art nestled in the center of Sicily, boasts a long series of monuments that tell of a glorious past.
Entrance in Villa Romana del Casale, that is a supreme example of a late imperial roman luxury villa and symbolizes the use of the territory by the Romans as the center of the large property on which the rural economy of the Western Empire was based.
Arrive in hotel, dinner and overnight in Ragusa.

DAY 9 Ragusa - Noto - Siracusa - Taormina

Breakfast at the hotel and travel to Noto, where you can visit the Royal Gate, Vittorio Emanuele main street, the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Church of Saint Clare of the Assumption and the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, that is one of the most significant monuments of the Sicilian Baroque.
Free lunch.
After lunch, travel to Siracusa. The city is located on the east coast of Sicily, is spread partly on the mainland and partly on the beautiful island of Ortigia, that is why it is also known as the island in the island. The tour continues through the narrow streets of the historic center of Ortigia where you will find churches, squares, baroque palaces, worth a stop the Cathedral of Syracuse that is located where once stood the old temple dedicated to Athena, is one of the most beautiful examples of Sicilian Baroque.
In the late afternoon arrive in Taormina.
Check-in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.

DAY 10 Taormina

Breakfast at your hotel and then off to Mount Etna, the largest active volcano.
If weather permits, you will have a chance to climb to the summit (1800 m.).
After, return to Taormina, the beautiful and romantic town located on Mount Tauro.
There you can see a beautiful stretch of turquoise sea and the Ancient theatre, built by the Greeks in the 3rd century BC and later expanded by the Romans who inserted columns and statues adapting the area of the orchestra to games and gladiatorial battles.
Then spend the rest of your day at leisure.
Dinner and overnight.

DAY 11 Taormina

Enjoy one final breakfast before the tour comes to an end and transfer out.
